Virtual Reality Specialist

Job Title: Robot Operator/Technician Type: Contract (12 months, high likelihood for extension or conversion full time.) Location: Onsite in Austin, TX Pay Rate: $15/hr Job Description: Join a leading robotics company as a Robot Operator/Technician. This role will utilize VR to hands-on control humanoid robots and support the continued rapid development of automated technology. As part of an urgently growing team, this position will work towards daily/weekly team goals and data points for high-visibility initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Operate humanoid robots using VR technology. • Stage scenes in which the robot will operate. • Create, categorize, and document tickets for issues. • Follow documented troubleshooting steps and audit documentation to keep information current. Required Skills & Experience: • Experience with gaming platforms (VR preferred). • Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. • Previous experience in any professional environment (understanding of how to behave professionally and potentially interact with customers). • Good written/documentation skills. • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a developing environment where processes and structure do not exist in all areas. • Extreme patience and ability to perform repetitive tasks for long periods of time. • Ability to pass a background check. • Reliable means of transportation to work onsite in Austin, TX.
