Virtual Sales Internship - Campus Ink
Job Description
Campus Ink is excited to offer a virtual sales internship program for the summer of 2024. We are looking for freshman and sophmores that are currently enrolled in a college or university. This program is designed to provide hands-on sales experience to students who are interested in pursuing a career in sales, graphic design, or marketing. The program will be conducted online, and will be a 6-week long program, starting mid-June and ending before the first week of August.
The virtual sales internship program will offer students the opportunity to gain real-world sales experience in a supportive and educational environment. The key responsibilities of the interns include:
- Prospecting leads: Interns will learn how to identify and qualify potential leads, and will be responsible for prospecting leads using different techniques such as cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
- Managing orders: Interns will learn how to manage orders, including how to keep track of customer requests, how to price orders, and how to manage the ordering process from start to finish.
- Closing sales: Interns will learn techniques for closing sales, including how to overcome objections and how to ask for the sale. They will also provide tips for building long-term relationships with clients and how to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for the virtual sales internship program should possess the following qualifications:
- Must be a current student enrolled in a college or university
- Must be interested in pursuing a career in sales, graphic design or marketing
- Must be a self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have access to a computer and internet connection
- Must be a Freshman or Sophmore
