Virtualization and Storage Administrator/Engineer

Insight Enterprises is seeking a Virtualization and Storage Engineer to help with the Operations, Maintenance and Support of our client's current virtualization & storage environment.

Title: Virtualization & Storage Engineer

Job Location: Atlanta, GA 30309

6 month contract (W2)

**Please note: this is a Hybrid opportunity with 2-3 days working on-site in Atlanta, GA

- Pay range: $50-60/hr (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Day to Day Operations.

• Maintenance - Updates, patches, etc.

• Provide support as needed.

• Configuration changes for new solution rollouts.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have:

• At least 3 years of Storage & Virtualization experience.

• Good knowledge and experience with VMWare virtualization (VSphere/VCenter) and fiber channel-based storage. Good knowledge and experience with Dell Data Domain including administration, zoning, replication, etc

• Good experience and knowledge of Nutanix Hyperconverged solution.

• Good experience with Veeam data protection - backup & recovery.

• Experience with Windows Server as a guest operating system.

• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc

• Good understanding of the change control process & best practices.

• Good troubleshooting skills.

• Good documentation skills.

• Good interpersonal skills and a strong team player

• Good communications skills in English, both written and verbal

Nice to have:

• Relevant certifications are a plus.

Google cloud experience is a plus.
