Job Description

SUMMARY

Works as directed per approved work instructions for the purpose of creating electronic data and files for Smith+Nephew's Patient Match product-lines while learning the fundamentals of segmentation and processing of patient diagnostic data.

  • Create patient specific technical data electronically by working from patient diagnostic data.
  • Perform change/maintenance to patient specific technical data using imaging processing software in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
  • Interface with case processing engineers, Patient Match Tech II's and Sr. Patient Match Tech's to verify that data pertaining to projects are documented accurately for project completion.
  • Respond to assignments in a timely manner and meet rigid deadlines.
  • Responsible for keeping and reporting records relative to project assignments using department approved software.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
These are non-essential job duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
1. Participates in the company quality programs.
2. Performs other related duties as assigned.
3. Participate in team and process improvement meetings.

Location: Memphis, TN (largely remote)

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

Requires Associate Degree in Design/Drafting, Art or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or a minimum of two years computer-based design experience creating and modifying 2-dimensional images

EXPERIENCE
  • Able to understand and verify continuity between various types of documents, revision records and data.
  • With assistance, able to comprehend detailed technical change instructions.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Able to respond to questions from engineers, managers, customers, and vendors in a positive manner.
  • With training, able to learn new software applications quickly.
