About the Role

We’re looking for a Visual Designer to join our Communication Design team and help create visual stories that support our mission to empower every teacher and motivate every learner. You’ll work on a variety of projects across marketing and product teams, creating assets that are extensions of our brand identity to ensure consistency across all channels.

Note: This is a full-time 6-month contract. 

What you'll do...

• Create Marketing Assets:Design social posts, YouTube thumbnails, email visuals, presentation decks, newsletters, conference materials, online banners, invites, and more.
• Develop Product Visuals:Collaborate with product designers on empty state illustrations, icons, and game mode assets. Create a cohesive system for infographic-style illustrations from scratch.
• Brand Alignment: Ensure all designs align with our brand identity. Work across teams to reinforce brand guidelines and strengthen our visual presence.
• Infographic Style Creation:Establish a unique illustration style that can be applied across various product and marketing assets.
• Template and System Creation:Contribute in developing templates and design systems to streamline processes and maintain consistency.
• Collaborate Across Teams:Work with like Marketing, Product, and People & Culture to plan, prototype, and deliver visual content that resonates with our audience.

Who you are...

• Experienced Designer: 1-2 years in graphic design, visual design, and creating infographic-style illustrations.
• Design Tools: Proficient in relevant design programs including Illustrator, Figma, Photoshop, Canva, After Effects, etc
• Detail-Oriented: exceptional eye for the finer elements that enhance the overall design, to ensure a good quality asset is delivered even when the timelines are short.
• Organized: Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and create effective design templates.
• Nice to Have:Experience in edtech or creating B2B content.Experience with agency work and brand management.
