Visual Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, design, media, and technology. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing graphics as well as creating production art for a variety of print and digital materials all while adhering to our value proposition and brand standards.

You will work on a variety of short-term and long-term projects with our marketing team and vendor partners. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual, who can process, react to, and solve problems as they arise on tight deadlines in a team environment. The candidate should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Deliver high-quality, scalable, on-brand design solutions that raise the bar
• Collaborate with marketing team and management to understand project goals and objectives
• Learn, understand, and deploy our value proposition in all materials supporting all the various audiences of our organization (brokers/consultants, employers, providers, members, internal employees)
• Create and execute design projects while proofing for accuracy and adhering to brand style guides and deadlines
• Design within existing style guidelines with the ability to flex and push the standards when appropriate
• Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding project requirements, timelines, and the status of creative requests
• Prepare final files for print and digital distribution, including (but not limited to) packaging working files, exporting PDFs, and preparing layouts to meet publication or printer specs
• Support creative work of vendors, troubleshoot production related issues

Requirements

Additional Requirement:

• Degree in graphic design, visual design, or equivalent
• At least 3 - 7 years' of print & digital design experience (video editing skills are a plus)
• Proficient in Adobe CC applications (including, but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, Acrobat)
• Familiar with project management platforms and updating status of work product (e.g. Monday.com)
