Visual Information Specialist (Marketing)

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:
Two years progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical, or other position which has provided a working knowledge of web development, graphic design, and/or marketing/advertising principles and practices. Specialized experience demonstrates the applicant's ability to plan and implement new and unique ideas without the benefit of established criteria. Be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Be able to effectively assist in planning an organizing work and follow management procedures, directives, regulations, and technical guidance. Possess general clerical skills and have knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Be able to read and speak English. Experience using industry standard programs such as Microsoft Office Suite (Wood, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Publisher), Adobe Creative Suite 5 (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, Acrobat Pro) Corel Graphics Suite X5 and social media (Facebook, Twitter) are highly desirable. Position is a position of trust. Be able to read and speak English. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
