Visualization Developer (Remote, US)

Job Summary:

The Data Visualization Developer's primary responsibilities are to produce visual depictions of text-based data that reveal patterns, trends, or correlations between different points. The Developer is a critical contributor to visualization maturity and capabilities by maintaining, supporting, training, and sharing knowledge of BI tools such as but not limited to Tableau and PowerBI.

Essential Functions:

• Articulate design needs and key decisions to business stakeholders across markets and brands collaborating closely with Business Leaders
• Design elegant and delightful product experiences as part of a cross-functional agile product team
• Build prototypes and design tests to validate customer needs, requirements, and behaviors
• Help Business Leaders define both long-and short-term vision and roadmap for digital products
• Collaborate with other designers within and cross-team to problem solve design challenges and maintain a level of design consistency and coherence across products
• Other duties as assigned

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Math, or Business Information Systems (required)

Experience:

• 3 years of experience in a data visualization or data analyst role (required); preferably in healthcare

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to plan long term and work alongside a complex business function to contribute to defining the strategy
• Exceptional facilitation skills to work collaboratively with the business
• Experience with SQL and Dashboard design
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts in everyday terms
