ABOUT THE POSITION

The Voice of Consumer (VOC) Analyst is responsible for conducting analysis and leveraging a wide range of analytical and data visualization tools to uncover and communicate opportunities to improve the consumer's experience with products, platforms, and services daily. This role primarily supports ecommerce and DTC in driving the best possible experience for consumers.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
  • Develop a solid understanding of the consumer using both quantitative and qualitative methods, while working with a variety of data (e.g., survey, Voice of the Consumer, UX, behavioral, transactional).
  • Identify consumer-focused business problems through gathering and analyzing data, developing and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations to the business.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to increase site conversion and drive site improvements.
  • Identify traffic trends, abandonment issues, and opportunities for improving site conversion rates and various KPIs.
  • Regularly review consumer insights to ensure accurate implementation and appropriate level of exposure, adoption, and utilization.
  • Utilize existing insights and analytics team findings to systematize recommendations that will further drive action among Columbia Sportswear's audiences
  • Design and lead end-to-end consumer experience research endeavors to provide foundational knowledge, tactical decision-support, and outcome evaluation

YOU ARE
  • Someone with strong organizational and time management skills, including ability to manage multiple, concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to triangulate and interpret data across disparate data sources to make actionable business recommendations
  • Business acumen savvy and possess the ability to understand business/technical requirements for analysis and project purposes
  • Naturally curious with a desire to understand and master new ecommerce techniques and strategies
  • Professionally driven with high integrity and a keen eye for high-quality inputs and outputs

YOU HAVE
  • 2-4 years' experience in a similar role using voice of consumer (VOC) programs such as InMoment and Qualtrics. Experience on client-side in a CX/VOC practice is a plus
  • Web analytics experience using FullStory, Adobe Analytics, SFCC, and/or Power BI and interest in learning new tools and technology
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use 1st party sales/behavioral data/KPIs and VOC survey data to back up assumptions and develop business cases
  • Background in market segmentation brand measurement and strategic brand positioning
  • Proven acumen in shaping stakeholder questions for maximum impact with the ability to translate needs into appropriate research initiatives
  • Experience partnering with third-party research vendors/agencies is a plus
