We are seeking a highly-skilled, experienced accounting officer that will play a central role in the continued growth of MNTN by providing leadership, analytical support, and cross-functional coordination across the organization. This is a senior, high-visibility position that reports to the CFO and will be a critical partner as the company rapidly grows. 

You will lead and supervise the accounting department,  delegating work and ensuring the staff follows all current laws, accounting principles, and company policies. You must be able to take large amounts of accounting information,  analyze results, and make these results available to benefit the company.  

What you'll do: 

• Recruit, manage and oversee the accounting department, including Accounts  Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Stock Administration, Tax, SEC Reporting  & Technical Accounting  
• Partner with the senior finance and business management team to facilitate effective, data-driven decision-making and drive insight into the business with financial information and analysis that support both the short-term performance goals and the long-term strategic direction of MNTN
• Support the financial close process and regularly examine financial statements to ensure accurate results and timely reporting
• Analyze financial data and processes and suggest improvements to reduce costs and increase profits  
• Make sure all financial data adheres to current laws and regulations, and  accounting principles  
• Prepare financial statements, including Forms S-1, 10-K & 10-Q, as needed 
• Manage the treasury function including day-to-day cash operations, cash  forecasting, management of short-term investments, and line of credit  
• Stay aware/informed of industry changes and current tax/accounting laws  
• Act as a liaison to external auditors, external tax accountants, and third-party  valuation consultants  

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance  
• CPA Certification, MBA, or Master of Accountancy
• 10+ years experience in a senior accounting position
• Advanced knowledge of professional accounting software, preferably NetSuite,  and supplementary systems such as SAP Concur, Equity Edge Online, Carta,  Paylocity, Bill.com Workiva & FloQast  
• Experience interacting with and presenting to executive teams, board members, investors, analysts, agencies, and other external parties
• Highly motivated with a sense of urgency, and the ability to continuously challenge the status quo
• Demonstrated leadership experience in fast-paced, high-growth pre-IPO environments
• M&A experience, including integrating accounting operations  
• Experience establishing and managing international accounting operations
• Extensive business experience and strategic knowledge  
• Excellent financial and analytical abilities  
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills  
• High attention to detail
