Job Summary

As a member of the product development team, the VP, Product Innovation, Annuities will be responsible for developing product ideas, concepts, processes and strategies around proprietary annuity offerings; participating in carrier discussions regarding new product development; helping carriers understand the economics underlying proprietary product opportunities as well as other projects as assigned by the SVP, Product Innovation.

Job Specific Duties

• Develop pricing for annuity products, determine the profitability impact of product changes/ enhancements, provide insight on underlying drivers of rates and lifetime profitability.
• Product ideas, concepts, processes, and strategy around new products, with focus on Annuity products.
• Participating in carrier discussions regarding new product development.
• Incorporate feedback from agents and affiliates into annuity product design.
• Helping carriers understand the economics underlying proprietary product opportunities.
• Ensures that product development activities align with the goals of the organization.
• Makes recommendations on the potential and practicality of products in development.

Qualifications

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
• Product Development experience (8+ years)
• ASA or FSA strongly preferred.
