We are looking for an experienced leader to grow and scale our partnership programs with accountability and ownership for revenue outcomes as a meaningful driver of growth. The VP of Distribution Partnerships will have a proven track record managing ERP and VAR partnerships and growing revenue through a variety of partnership models including OEM, reseller, referral, and channel VARs.
This is an opportunity to join a high-growth fintech company and lead a high-performing team. You will make a significant impact from day one and will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.
What You’ll Do as VP of Distribution Partnerships:
- You will own and lead our distribution partnerships and team with the objective of accelerating the company’s growth through its partnership programs.
- Formulate and drive our Partner Strategy that will develop, enable, and monetize an expanding set and ecosystem of partners including leading ERP/E-Commerce Providers, SIs, and VARs
- Build relationships with key executives for our enterprise partners, and define objectives and business plans for each partnership
- Develop, monitor, and adjust the strategy, ideal partner profiles, and partnership programs to continuously improve results
- Work with our partners and internal teams (sales, marketing, product, engineering, and customer success) to optimize joint selling and marketing strategies for driving revenue through the partner ecosystem
- Coordinate with the marketing team to build marketing programs and campaigns for different types of partners that maximize bookings, including events, webinars, campaigns, and other co-marketing efforts
- Design and deliver meaningful reporting for the partnership program with repeatable and scalable processes for measuring and tracking sales pipeline, bookings, revenue, and other important KPIs across multiple types of partnerships
What You're Like:
- The ideal candidate for VP of Distribution Partnerships will be:
- Passionate about building and investing in partner relationships to fuel top-line growth
- Analytical and enthusiastic about driving and measuring the performance of partnerships
- Able to build scalable programs while also recognizing different needs for multiple types of partnership models and partner organizations
- Excited to perform hands-on work while also leading and developing a high-performing team
- An experienced GTM leader and strategic thinker who understands technology and business strategy
- A clear communicator and persuasive presenter with the ability to inspire internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of SaaS/fintech experience growing and leading partner, sales,and/or marketing teams, with a demonstrable ability to drive revenue and show results
- Proven track record of designing and launching partnership and marketing programs for a variety of different types of partnership models
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving revenue in a high-growth, rapidly evolving organization
- Strong executive presence with proven ability to develop relationships at multiple levels within complex partner organizations
- Experience quarterbacking complex business development efforts for OEM deals
- Proven track record managing technology partnerships, SI/VAR programs/channels for ERPs such as Microsoft, NetSuite, and Sage
- Experience in the payments / fintech industry
- Versapay is a remote-first company, so the VP of Distribution Partnerships can live anywhere; however, some travel is required for this position to build strong relationships with partners and participate in partner events.
