VP, Digital Marketing & Operations
Job Description
As the VP, of Digital Marketing & Marketing Operations, you will set the roadmap for our overall digital marketing and marketing operations strategy, while leading a team who can analyze data and turn it into insights to better inform the overall marketing and digital strategy. In this role, you will build a team of talented digital marketers and marketing operations experts who are passionate about driving scalable growth for the business, while at the same time integrating acquired businesses' digital properties/systems to mitigate risk and maximize synergies/success. This role reports directly to the CMO.
What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)- Set the overall Marketing technology, digital marketing, and marketing operations strategy that drives the broader strategic initiatives of the Marketing and Growth teamÂ
- Oversee the management of the digital marketing channel budget to ensure every dollar is being used to maximum effectiveness
- Lead the Marketing Operations and Marketing Technology team to strengthen governance, processes, systems, and integrations
- Lead the digital strategy integration track to consolidate acquired businesses into a single website, and common set of systems, vendors, budget, processes, and culture
- Align with the VP of Corporate Communications, VP of Brand & Content, and the VP of Lifecycle Marketing to ensure the execution of all campaign components are done seamlessly across channels
- Partner with the Head of Sales Operations to ensure continued collaboration and alignmentÂ
- Build a staffing plan for the Digital Marketing and Marketing Operations teams that scale for future growth of the business to ensure appropriate resource allocation to support and lead initiatives
- Present to the CEO and senior leadership team on key trends and the impact Marketing is having on the outcomes of the business
- Assess the current marketing technology stack and identify areas of improvement to fill existing gaps

- 10+ years of experience driving digital direct-response marketing programs in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- 10+ years B2B experience with preference given to Enterprise & B2B SaaS experience
- Demonstrated experience in Marketing Operations including CRM, marketing automation systems, and strategy
- Demonstrated experience in Web Strategy including information architecture, SEO, conversion rate optimization, WordPress development, and website governance is a plus
- Experience managing individual contributors including hiring, inspiring, and leading within a fast-paced, ever-changing marketing organizationÂ
- Collaborating effectively with sales to achieve results - building a deep relationship where they’re trusted partners and allies working as one team
- Experience working with Sales Operations and Finance to define and develop forecasts, goals, and reporting
- Experience driving targeted messages in B2B markets with account-based marketingÂ
- Experience with integrating acquired businesses as an asset
- A track record of delivery on complex projects, using strong organizational skills, and the ability to influence and work cross-functionally
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively market the work of Marketing internally
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills – must have the ability to analyze and derive meaning from data which you will then translate into actionable changes
- Ability to build budgets with justification and validated assumptions to explain marketing plan, impact, and ROI
