In this role, you will lead data and digital strategy for the Vizient portfolio of solutions across clinical, pharmacy, and supply chain data domains. You will be responsible for ensuring superb member experience and maximal operational efficiency, including use of artificial intelligence, big data technology solutions, and offshore staff resources. Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic vision for data and digital investments at Vizient. You will recruit, manage, and develop a talented data operations and product team.

  • Develop and communicate a clear and compelling data and platform strategy that aligns with the company's overall vision and goals. This includes market analysis, competitive research, and customer feedback.
  • Define and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key features, enhancements, and releases over both short and long-term horizons
  • Manages data and digital platform strategy across the portfolio of Vizient offerings. Ensures timely, high-quality data available to support products and services, while maintaining excellent member satisfaction.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, strategists, and analysts, fostering a collaborative and innovative product culture
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation and design to development, testing, and launch
  • May develop and support process engineering to support data operations, services delivery, product delivery, membership, advisory and other business units across Vizient.
  • Champion user-centered design principles and ensure that the platform delivers an exceptional user experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of product initiatives, making data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the product team and continuously seek new opportunities to improve and expand the platform.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred (MBA, Engineering, data science or advanced degree preferred). Background as a software engineer is a plus. 
  • Proven experience in product management and strategy, with a track record of successful product launches.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of the digital platform industry and emerging trends.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Data-driven mindset and proficiency in using relevant tools and analytics.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $187,800.00 to $328,600.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
