The Role
We are currently seeking a VP/Director MarTech and Communications Data Engineering Leader for our growing MarTech team. This is a high impact role that will drive significant business results by leading a team and delivering cross channel customer communications across Email, SMS, Push and other.
This individual will be charged with enabling and implementing omni-channel personalization and communication strategies to on-board, engage, and expand customer relationships, grow customer lifetime value, and increase revenue retention. This role will be responsible for executing customer targets, KPI's, and deliver initiatives to create personalized experiences and deliver communications data products that match offerings to customer needs and maximize both response and value.
A successful candidate will be agile, data-driven, and customer-centric with a passion for marketing and servicing communications delivery across customer lifecycle (acquisition, origination, and servicing). A true innovator, leader and data architect with experience leveraging SaaS/cloud solutions (AWS), databases, data engineering techniques, marketing automation and best practices to make our customer experiences and communications stand out.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team to design and implement marketing and servicing campaigns and automations
- Leverage marketing automation tools such as Adobe Campaign to develop and execute campaigns
- Deliver the campaign objectives by leading an agile team of data and business analysts, scrum masters, data engineers, and testers
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements
- Implement and automate robust, and flexible campaigns/communications performance reports
- Monitor the campaign performance and manage the operational issues
- Develop, optimize, and evolve customer communications data across the channels such as email, web, mobile, Push, SMS, social, and DM etc.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Analytics, Servicing, Risk/Compliance, and other leaders
- Work to identify root causes and come up with solutions within the data ecosystem that impacts communications and customer interactions with OneMain
Qualifications
- 15+ years in database design and architecture, marketing automation, database marketing and communications, and analytics including 5+ years leadership experience leading and managing a team of data engineering/data analyst/Data stewards/data architect teams
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or related discipline is preferred
- Deep knowledge of database marketing and communications execution lifecycle
- Demonstrable success delivering data solutions preferably in the field of marketing, customer experience and/or customer communications
- Demonstrable success delivering cross channel communications such as batch and blast, trigger/event based, authenticated and unauthenticated channels
- Demonstrable success designing and organizing customer data and modeling using state of the art options
- Deep knowledge of CDP and AWS cloud technologies
- Strategic thinker who can understand business complexities and develop an innovative and creative solutions that addresses these nuances.
- Effective communicator who is comfortable presenting to a variety of audiences and stakeholders at various levels.
- Exceptional leader and team player with proven ability to lead through influence and work effectively both independently and collaboratively within fast-paced, diverse cross-functional teams.
- Dynamic and adaptable project manager with a strong ability to establish processes and drive project execution with minimal guidance amidst multiple priorities and goals
