The mission of a Syndigo VP, Finance, and partner to our CFO, is to help support our organization's financial, planning, and analysis function. You'll bring exceptional financial, planning, and analysis skills, strategic guidance, leadership traits and a genuine entrepreneurial spirit. This is a unique opportunity for a financial executive who wants to be instrumental in the ongoing financial leadership and expansion of a software as a service (SaaS) technology company. This role will have direct involvement with all aspects of the day-to-day business and financings. You're a strategic thinker and tactical implementer, unafraid to offer your input on broad business initiatives.
How We'll Be Winning Together Day-To-Day

• Lead the company's annual budget, periodic forecast, and monthly financial planning and analysis close processes
• Prepare and deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to the CFO, CEO, and Board of Directors, including financial statements, pro forma adjustments, relevant analysis and explanations
• Manage consolidated pro-forma financial statements and financial, planning, and analysis monthly close process as the company continues to acquire and integrate substantial acquisitions
• Manage team, hire, and develop a remote team of six across multiple geographies
• Lead the integration of the financial, planning, and analysis functions from our recent acquisitions as well as future acquisitions
• Work independently and proactively as a VP, Finance. We need someone who will possess the experience and skills to deliver the necessary outputs in an independent manner as the CFO continues to execute an aggressive M&A strategy and other strategic initiatives
• Translate outputs from financial statements to meaningful data, trends, and obstacles to the rest of the team. Take the financial statements and communicate to the team exactly what they mean and how it will impact the business as a whole
• Work collaboratively across departments and functions to help provide accurate and on time financials that are the inputs to their KPI's
• Build the necessary processes to generate the appropriate KPIs
• Implement Workday's Adaptive financial planning system to optimize the Company's financial analysis, budgeting, and KPI reporting
• Support the due diligence process, as needed, and be an active participant in the evaluation of acquisition candidates
• As a trusted advisor, the VP, Finance will work on a variety of projects to optimize revenue and financial performance of the organization.
• Oversee the creation of commission plans and process by partnering with revenue operations

WE SHOULD TALK IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOU

• Ideally, experience managing the FP&A function within a private equity owned enterprise within the software industry.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and/or corporate finance.
• Prior experience in strategic planning and M&A analysis and integration.
• ERP experience and savviness.
• Best-in-class analytical skills are required.
• Strong business and financial acumen required, including demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with multiple stakeholders.
• Solid organizational, management, administrative and human relations skills, and a style which exhibits leadership, collaboration and teamwork.
• Strong history of quickly building relationships, gaining credibility and partnering with business leaders.

• Netsuite, Workday Adaptive, and Salesforce systems experience a plus, but not required

Chicago/Nashville preferred (Hybrid)
Working Remote will be considered as well
