VP Franchise Sales member will develop and maintain relationships within an assigned territory. Support Level II & III in executing the sales plan. Maintain the internal database (Bridge).
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- As an integral part of the FFCC Sales Team, develops and maintains relationships within an assigned territory, sources and qualifies leads, supports Level II & III in executing the sales plan. Maintains the internal database (Bridge)
- Maintain periodic contact with franchisees in approved and targeted concepts (both existing & new clients) within the assigned territory.
- Source new business by obtaining referrals from existing clients and by contacting franchisees listed in Bridge.
- Qualify prospects by first determining if the prospect is of size and represents opportunity to grow the relationship.
- As part of the qualification process, determine if the prospect meets FFC/OSF minimum credit standards by reviewing a preliminary financial package and preparing a financial spread.
- Work directly with Credit/UW teams in qualifying the deal and analyzing the creditworthiness of the prospected specific opportunity.
- Work directly with senior level VP's in options to structure deals.
- Prepare financial package to present to Flagpole Committee & subsequent Term Sheet post initial vetting approval.
- Document all communications and opportunities in Bridge CRM. Maintain all required compliance documentation as required by FFC/OSF.
- Read industry periodicals and brand publications in order to understand and converse with clients of recent initiatives and noteworthy events.
- On occasion, attend trade shows so some travel is required.
- Origination volume expectations $10-20m annually.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform Essential Functions of the Job:
- Requires at least 2 years of relevant sales experience including direct client interface.
- Basic knowledge of financial reporting and organizational structures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent professional training.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lifts and carries up to 20 lbs.
- Occasionally stands and walks
- Frequently sits
Compliance Statement: The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.
Development and Training:
- Mentor with other VP's, senior sales associates or Credit Underwriters to understand the Franchise credit standards and best practices in structuring transactions.
- Work closely with Sales and Credit Officers to further develop reasoning and structuring skills.
- Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
