The VP of Fund Management will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s financial services, departments, and Fund Management department. This role will have direct oversight of project & structured financings, FP&A, lease portfolio management, compliance, strategy, corporate analysis, and funding of the Company's project finance facilities. The VP of Fund Management will work closely with senior executives, the CEO, and other members of the Leadership Team to establish financial and strategic goals, develop and maintain key economic performance indicators, and drive results that align with the company's mission and values.

This position is based out of our Corporate HQ in New Orleans, however we are open to candidates who are based across the continental United States.

Essential Job Functions

  • Collaborate with senior executives to establish financial and strategic goals, including financing and investment strategies
  • Oversee financial reporting, long-range financial planning, annual budgets, and FP&A process
  • Manage corporate transactions (e.g., equity raises, ITC investment funds, debt financing, bond financings, M&A activities, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain key economic performance indicators and strategic objectives, reporting results to the executive team
  • Prepare and present annual budgets, including anticipated capital expenditures, for Board of Directors approval
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices, including tax laws, GAAP, FAR, and CAS
  • Stay informed of developments and trends in finance and administration, including technological advances
  • Oversee lease portfolio analysis and manage the deployment and sale of assets to finance partnerships
  • Monitor fund asset performance, collaborating with Accounting and Account Management to effectively report and communicate with financial partners
  • Manage tax equity tracking models and maintain relationships with potential tax equity and project debt investors
  • Support asset-based diligence for Capital Markets and work with rating agencies to support future ABS transactions
  • Build and manage a team of Fund Management analysts and professionals

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible finance and operational experience
  • Recent senior-level finance experience in US-based renewable energy industry required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Investment Tax Credit funds and fund structures
  • Experience working with a Board of Advisors/Directors, investors and the investment community
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement financial controls, operating plans, budgets, and projections
  • Strong computer skills, including financial model development and expert-level Excel spreadsheet skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
