VP, GIS Americas

Job Duties:

• Provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives.
• Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment and management of current and future IT resources and systems across the organization
• Proactively identify and develop plans to mitigate business risks related to the deployment and reliance on IT-enabled systems and services
• Develop and implement action plans for technology, business applications, and related processes, reporting initiatives, and data management systems
• Develop business case justifications and cost-benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives. Approve, prioritize the IT portfolio related to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems.
• Contribute to and execute the business roadmap for the SAP Platform and associated technologies working with business partners to ensure demand is prioritized, projects and solutions are effective and business functions are supported.
• Create a portfolio of approved solutions for business systems and processes based on business value
• Actively pursue and implement leading-edge technology to improve business processes and systems
• Serve as the knowledge and advisory resource for all department and division leaders to ensure technology is appropriately aligned with the business needs
• Oversight of Operational and Capital Expense budget for the Information Technology organization
• Supervise, coordinate, and assign activities to department staff
• Provide mentoring and coaching to all teams
• Serve as an Executive Sponsor with customers on issues, questions, and concerns regarding the areas within the Information Organization

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Related Field Preferred
• Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems
• Experience with growing a company's IT needs and migrating systems to newer or better systems
• Experience in managing a complex SAP centric landscape
• Experience in at least one or more of the following SAP Modules SD / FICO / MM
• Experience with managing the Development, controlling, and processing proprietary applications
• Must have 8-10 years of experience in the following:
• Managing an IT Team and identifying new systems as needed
• Experience in managing GITC such as Segregation of Duties and Change control processes
