Ceremony of Roses (COR) is a music merchandising company based out of Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2017 by partner Brad Scoffern, COR sets itself apart from traditional merchandising by offering clients an elevated and specialized experience.

The Vice President, Global Digital Sales position at Ceremony of Roses is a role responsible for leading the company’s evolving digital operations. The overarching priority of this leadership position is strategic revenue growth across all online sales channels. Additional priorities include artist website development, client product launch strategies, online marketing campaigns, and strategic partner management.

The Vice President, Global Digital Sales will report directly to the CBO, and will work closely with the COO and account management team to ensure impactful results and exceptional client service.

What you'll do:
  • Lead all online merchandising initiatives for COR, including running day-to-day ecommerce operations, webstore development, customer service, digital partnerships, and performance reporting for the entire client roster.
  • Manage and grow an agile team of ecommerce specialists and external development partners; Establish the organizational infrastructure and resources required to achieve ambitious revenue objectives.
  • Own & optimize online customer acquisition & merchandising strategies. Develop reporting dashboards and KPIs against all key metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS, CPL, CPMs etc). Track and present results/insights to senior leadership team on a regular basis.
  • Partner with XFN partners within Sony Music to inventory current ecommerce workflows and partners; Design and implement a unified global GTM approach for artist ecommerce that drives ROI and best-in-class customer experiences in all key markets.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive online customer service strategy and resource model that keep customers happy and engaged.
  • Supervise the creation and deployment of effective online marketing campaigns across paid media, email marketing, SMS and social channels.
  • Establish a/b testing methodologies and other UX strategies built around improving site performance and reducing bounce rates.
  • Implement effective merchandising and product stock levels reporting systems designed to improve the account team’s decision making related to product assortment and promotional plans.
  • Provide thought leadership, innovation, and POVs on key digital initiatives and nascent technologies. Identify new areas of ecommerce opportunity beyond current offerings.
 
Who you are:
  • Minimum 10+ years of prior experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Demonstrated P&L accountability for $10m+ in annual ecommerce sales.
  • Expert level knowledge of eCommerce technologies: Including but not limited to Shopify, Shopify +, Salesforce Serbice, Commerce, Marketing Clouds.
  • Proficiency with Amazon Vendor & Seller Central.
  • Experience utilizing paid digital marketing tools: Including but not limited to Google Shopping, Google Ad Words, Facebook/Instagram (Meta), Salesforce Social.
  • Extensive background in technical QA and troubleshooting through technology stacks.
  • Experience handling technology implementations from RFP to post-launch training.
  • Proven ability to interpret data and draw conclusions to implement new digital strategies.
  • Self- starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Sheets, Slides, Documents.
  • Comfortable meeting deadlines and managing expectations.
  • Comfortable working with Trello, Slack or other organizational tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present to leadership and use data to advocate for change.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Superior project, time, and budget management skills.
