Fortune.com is on an exciting journey of growth and digital transformation. In the last twelve months, traffic has tripled and digital subscriptions have gone into hyper-growth mode. We launched Fortune Connect, a membership program, and several fast-growing newsletters. Now, we are looking for a VP of Growth Marketing to help build a world-class B2C marketing engine for all our digital products.

What you will do

Reporting into our new Chief Customer Officer, our VP of Growth Marketing will own our lead, newsletter and subscriber acquisition efforts. Responsibilities will include:

· Create and execute full-funnel growth strategy, starting with our O&O traffic, eventually adding paid media into the mix where appropriate

· Prioritize customer acquisition, activation/engagement and retention and the needs of three “client” businesses (subscriptions, newsletters, Fortune Connect) as necessary

· Lead rapid experimentation for new campaigns, creative, incentives and approaches in close collaboration with product and technology teams

· Partner with creative teams to develop a new operating model and tools for creative development and iteration

· Grow and lead a team of skilled performance marketers to drive marketing strategy, campaign ideation, execution, and analysis, continually raising the bar on technical and analytical skills

· Work closely with the CCO and the CTO to build a state-of-the art MarTech stack

· Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization including product, engineering, data science, and brand marketing

· Report key insights to the executive team on a regular basis

Who we are looking for

· 10 years of Performance Marketing and/or Acquisition Marketing, both B2C and B2B, including organic and paid channels

· Someone who has successfully built and executed growth strategies for both hyper-growth and established companies

· Consumer tech or tech-enabled consumer company experience is a must

· Strong leadership presence, experience serving as a senior leader, influential with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders

· Ability to create buy-in with both technical and operational teams

· Self-starter who likes to roll up his or her sleeves
