Overall Purpose
Reporting to the Managing Director - New Initiatives, this position is responsible for building and leading a high performing sales team. Highly visible, strategic leadership position that will help create the strategy and build contacts and pipeline supporting the new initiative growth.
Essential Functions
- Build and manage a US market sales team supporting the growth of a new product line
- Act as a passionate leader of the sales organization, motivate the team to achieve sales results, deliver revenue goals, and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction
- Drive a results-based culture, while ensuring company vision and values are core to sales strategy execution
- Communicate status of sales regularly with the leadership team and periodically with the company's management committee
- Support the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience selling to online merchants and their technology and payment enablers
- Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or other related field.
- Proven sales experience with technology solutions focused on payments
- Consultative, conceptual, and strategic selling skills
- Executive leadership experience
- Proven ability to interact with C-level executives at top-tier online merchants
- Demonstrated C-Level corporate sales experience, including related industry experience, direct sales experience and national sales management experience in Financial Services, Credit Card Processing, Banking and Retail.
- Demonstrated success growing revenue and market share in a competitive market.
- Effective leadership and success developing highly engaged, high performing teams
- Ability to strategically assess the market landscape to develop and execute sales strategies to grow company position.
- Effective communication, negotiating and influencing skills
- Travel up to 40%

Physical Requirements
Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers and travel.
