The Role

DoorLoop is dedicated to making our company/office(s) the best place to work, where our employees are engaged and excited to come to work every day. We are looking for a new HR VP who embodies our DNA and can maintain and improve our positive workplace culture, and who will lead us in fostering productivity and happiness. In this role, you will oversee the people experience in both Miami and Tel Aviv, including collaborating with DoorLoop’s People Team (people operations, talent acquisition and Human Resources), department leaders, and Co-Founders.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Operations: Develop DoorLoop’s HR’s infrastructure and implement novel strategic solutions. Oversee all HR-related functions, including proper legal compliance within hiring, terminations, compensation, benefits and create company policies around career growth, company procedures, and ensure all policies align with our culture. Be knowledgeable and up to date on workplace laws. Work with leadership to support a compensation philosophy of equity and competitive advantage. Oversee the administration of employee benefit plans and work with brokers and third party vendors to evaluate and improve the quality of offerings.
  • Performance Management and Learning & Development: Implement programs to train managers for better team success, effective performance reviews, skills development and personal growth based on every team member’s passions and interests. Develop initiatives that prioritize well-being, health, and work-life balance. Oversee the performance management process to cultivate continuous feedback and improvement that aligns with our growth strategy.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Collaborate with our talent acquisition team to recruit, onboard and nurture new employees and ensure successful recruiting of high-potential candidates that align with DoorLoop’s mission and values. Develop and implement a unique offboarding experience that results in positive long-term relationships and gather crucial feedback for improvement.
  • Engagement, Feedback & Employee Satisfaction: Foster a sense of camaraderie by creating initiatives that promote engagement, collaboration, and personal growth. Use data-driven insights to assess and improve workplace satisfaction (surveys, 1-on-1s, 360 reviews). Lead employee retention efforts, including employee recognition policies, goal alignment, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Culture: Infuse and maintain our unique company culture by setting an example and serving as a cultural ambassador, ensuring that our values, mission, and vision are woven into every aspect of the organization. Lead, manage, and oversee other team members in the global HR team and in operations to implement culture-driven policies, procedures, events, and initiatives. Ensure DoorLoop maintains and promotes an
    inclusive culture that values diversity.
  • Fun & Creativity: Spearhead efforts for impactful events, outings, and activities and assist in planning a Company-wide retreat/offsite to enable employees to build strong co-departmental working relationships.

  • Can effectively manage a team, including some employees working remotely, in a different timezone and office.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 or more years of experience in the Human Resources field or people management.
  • Experience in building and creating effective HR policies in a high-growth SaaS company.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree.
  • Experience with HR software such as HiBob, Lattice, Gusto.
  • General knowledge of state/federal/local law
  • knowledge of US Payroll, benefits, and health insurance.

  • Degree or certification in HR or related field.
  • Experience working with high-growth and fast paced start-ups.
