ROLE OVERVIEW 

The VP of Insights & Analytics, reporting to our Chief Strategy Officer, will be a key leader responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will oversee the development and execution of the enterprise analytics strategy, leveraging data to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions that can be shared across the organization, enhance operational excellence, and accelerate the organization towards our long-term vision.

This team will be accountable for leveraging data in a way that powers our business, while ensuring our data is accurate, clear, and accessible throughout the company with governance and shared definitions. This role will partner closely with leadership, operations, clinical leaders, and data engineering to prioritize the necessary intelligence and insights to achieve our vision.

COMPENSATION: $230,000 - $260,000/annually

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise analytics strategy aligned with our enterprise business objectives.

    • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify key business priorities and opportunities for leveraging data to drive value.

    • Advocate for data-driven decision-making across all levels of the organization.

  • Analytics Strategy and Execution:

    • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics models, dashboards, and reports to support business strategy and operations.

    • Drive innovation in data analytics practices and tools to improve predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities.

    • Ensure the integration of data across various business units and systems for a unified view of enterprise performance.

  • Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing analytics team, including analysts and data scientists.

    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

  • Data Excellence and Governance:

    • Establish enterprise-wide data definitions.

    • Oversee the establishment and enforcement of data governance policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

    • Collaborate with Digital Data Engineering to manage data infrastructure and ensure robust data management practices.

  • Business Partnership and Communication:

    • Partner with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their analytics needs and deliver actionable insights.

    • Communicate complex analytical findings in a clear and compelling manner to non-technical audiences, including executive leadership.

    • Drive the adoption of data-driven practices and insights throughout the organization.

  • Performance Measurement:

    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of analytics initiatives on business outcomes.

    • Evaluate the effectiveness of analytics tools and methodologies, making recommendations for improvements as needed.

    • Report on the performance of analytics projects and their alignment with business goals.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in analytics roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position managing teams and projects.

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and platforms such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing enterprise-level analytics strategies.

  • Experience with data governance, data management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Strong understanding of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and data visualization.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align analytics strategies with business objectives.

  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change across organizational levels.

  • Strong collaborative skills with a track record of building cross-functional relationships.
