About the Role

The VP Investments and Corp Dev position, will lead a team of Analysts, report into Bhavin, and be responsible for driving MnA, Investments, Funding, Corp Dev, Capital Markets and other strategic initiatives of Bhavin’s Office across all of his companies and portfolios, across multiple geographies globally (US, EU, India, Middle East and more).

The role including researching targets, analyzing performance, conducting due diligence, financial modeling, portfolio management and performance tracking of various portfolio companies specifically in the fintech sector.

Responsibilities

• Research potential investment targets
• Prepare detailed financial models, valuation materials, data books with analysis & insights etc
• Coordinate and manage financial due diligence processes
• Manage change of control application processes with Financial regulators
• Actively participate in preparation and negotiation of term sheets and definitive documents
• Independently manage investment closing phases
• Financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking of the portfolio
• Raising debt
• Leveraging Capital Markets for Securitization, primary and secondary sales

Skills

• Advanced financial modeling skills including understanding of vintage models, cohort analysis, IRR calculations and more
• Experience and knowledge of MnA transaction documents and relevant legal positions
• Deep understanding of Capital Markets
• Experience in fund raises and debt raises in global markets
• Strong analytical skills and good business acumen
• Excellent negotiation skills and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• High standards of accuracy and precision

Experience and Qualifications

• MBA Finance / CA / Economics / Statistics
• 10+ years experience at an investment bank, VC / PE fund or equivalent managing multiple deals each year
