VP, Investments, Retail Business Partner

F&G is hiring for a VP, Investments, Retail Business Partner. This role will play a key role in partnering with & supporting the company’s retail business unit that is responsible for the individual annuities and life business.  This role will be the liase with the retail leadership team to provide investment input on new product initiatives. The successful individual will have a strong background in investments, experience investing insurance company general account assets, and a very good understanding of annuities and life liabilities.

As the VP, Investments, Retail Business Partner, you will assist in the management of F&G's Retail investment portfolio, including:

• Liaise with the Retail business leadership team, and supporting them with investment related input where needed
• Provide investment related input for new product initiatives and being part of the due diligence working groups
• Optimize the asset portfolio for the retail product liabilities
• Set investment pricing for retail rate setting
• Track and monitor new business purchases, and measuring profitability vs pricing targets
• Oversight of the retail in-force investment portfolio
• Contributing member of the investment strategic leadership team
• Collaborate on the strategic and dynamic asset allocation processes
• Liaise with our investment management partners
• Oversee and manage your direct reports
• Coordinate with other functional areas of the Company to meet the stated business plan
• Support the CIO on ad hoc projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• CFA, or other relevant professional designation preferred
• 15+ years of insurance investing experience
• Actuarial experience preferred

• Working knowledge of Excel, Access, FactSet, BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg systems, Conning, or similar modeling and investment systems
