As the Vice President and Head of Investor Relations at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for developing, leading, and driving a coordinated investor relations program that translates Micron's strategies, plans, and performance to the investment community, including investors/analysts globally! This role will integrate finance, communication, marketing, and securities law compliance to enable clear and informative communication between Micron and investors. This role is essential for all information and messaging to partners (investors, analysts, employees, customers, regulatory and governmental constituencies, and members of the media) and serves an important role in collecting and communicating investor inputs to Micron management.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and present to management and the Board of Directors the opinions of the investment community regarding Micron's performance, industry trends, and actions.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, non-deal road shows, and other meetings with analysts and investors.
  • Direct investor relations functions, including quarterly earnings calls, analyst days, special topic webcasts, and conference calls.
  • Review press release earnings announcements, conference call scripts, and Q&A's.
  • Collaborate with CEO and CFO to ensure consistent messages are delivered to partners.
  • Prepare cohesive and compelling investor presentations.
  • Manage and report critical market intelligence and investor feedback to senior management and leadership teams.
  • Provide input and market-based perspectives for SEC filings and financial document preparation.
  • Respond to investor inquiries and analyst calls.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in marketing, finance, or investor relations and an in-depth understanding of the financial and investment markets
  • Minimum of 10 years experience as a buy-side or sell-side investor
  • Track record of building and maintaining relations with the investor relations community
  • Memory or Semiconductor industry experience is highly desired
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to travel as needed up to 30%

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$278,161.00 - $349,708.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
