Redesign is looking for its first VP, Launch to join our leadership team. This high-impact role will be responsible for the build out and lead the team responsible for facilitating the execution of our company launches.  This includes ensuring that we are following our company creation model and that we are delivering high quality deliverables and engagements on time and on budget.  The goal is to build and lead a team of launch managers who are effectively and optimally leading the project management of our company creation process.  

The ideal candidate for this role has past experience managing the launch of multiple businesses, products, or project with a consulting background.  We are looking for a creative, collaborative leader who is excited to join us on our mission of accelerating innovation in healthcare. 

You will report to the Head of Business Success. The position can be fully remote or at our New York City headquarters.

What you'll do:
  • Build out the Launch Management team to support all our companies during the funding to launch phase 
  • Establish the processes to deliver the launch of our companies on time, on budget and on quality
  • Work cross-functionally with department leaders and with companies’ CEOs to continuously improve the processes and tools
  • Resolve escalations from stakeholders related to the execution of Redesign’s engagement model
  • Capacity plan and staff accordingly to ensure there is capacity to meet deadlines
  • Perform retrospectives on our launches to learn and iterate on the model
What you'll need:

Background

  • 12+ years of total work experience 
  • 5 years of people management experience
  • 4 years of experience managing the launch of multiple businesses, products, or projects
  • 4 years of experience managing complex projects with tight timelines and multiple dependencies
  • 3 years of experience in an early stage startup experience or rapidly changing environment 
  • 2 years of experience managing senior cross-functional stakeholders
