The Challenge

The VP, M&A Integration will oversee the integration of all of OneTrust’s acquired businesses. As a leader of the integration function, you will play an integral role in the due diligence process for acquisition targets, lead the development of the integration strategy for each acquisition, and manage all active integration projects across the entire OneTrust product suite. In this role, you will be the primary contact for all of our acquired executives, and will be responsible for reporting to OneTrust’s executive team on the progress of all active integration projects.  

Your Mission

In this role, you will coordinate highly complex change management efforts across all aspects of OneTrust’s business. You will own the integration strategy, and will be responsible for coordinating integration efforts across all of the functional teams within OneTrust.

As the VP, M&A Integration, you will:

  • Partner with the M&A Strategy and Deal Execution team to conduct due diligence for potential acquisition targets
  • Coordinate the development of the combined business strategy and product vision for all of our acquired companies
  • Develop and implement cross-functional integration strategies / timelines for all of our acquired companies
  • Define measurement parameters and integration milestones for acquired companies, and report on the progress towards these goals to the executive team
  • Drive maturity in OneTrust’s M&A integration function by solidifying the integration playbooks across each of the functional groups within OneTrust
  • Scale the integration function to prepare OneTrust to tackle higher complexity integration projects in the future
You Are

You are someone with a background in Corporate Development, or Consulting with hands on M&A integration experience. You have a portfolio of integration projects that you have led, and can speak to in a high level of detail. You have strong opinions about what does / doesn’t work in M&A Integration, but are open to new ideas and are willing to work collaboratively to imagine new ways to approach the function.

Your Experience Includes
  • 8+ years of M&A Integration experience, or comparable M&A advisory experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading multiple M&A Integration projects
  • Experience building and managing a team
  • Strong experience interacting with & presenting to senior executives
  • Experience building executive consensus and driving high-impact strategic decision making processes
Extra Awesome
  • Experience integrating Software as a Service companies and literacy in subscription economics and KPIs for Software as a Service companies
  • Experience building M&A integration playbooks and driving repeatability and standardization of business processes
  • Familiarity with Data Privacy & Security space
