About the role:
Reporting to the EVP, Major Operations, the VP of Managed Services Sales will be responsible for the development and sales of Managed Services (MS), including SmartHands, Data Center services, Service Desk, and our Network Operations Center. This position will design service offerings, generate leads to grow Managed Services revenue, close sales opportunities, and provide client account management.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain Managed Services GTM collateral for the account teams based on the current and new offerings that will be part of the portfolio.
- Leverage tools, resources and connections to identify, drive and upsell potential customer opportunities.
- Help build sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets for Managed Services.
- Ensure renewals are executed and expanded to grow the business.
- Collaborate with the Managed Services Delivery team to craft the offerings based on knowledge of the market, the client’s feedback and the partner’s capabilities.
- Act as the subject matter expert to educate account teams on the best way to identify, position and close managed service deals. Work to build internal mechanisms for ensuring client success.
- Seek new partnerships for resale and/or work with internal MS delivery to build offerings.
- Help refine & up level MS Service Delivery management team based on client feedback.
- Support Process Optimization, including ROM services quoting, team scheduling, and reporting.
- Provide operational account management and responsible for overall client satisfaction for managed services.
- Provide guidance and mentorship around Managed Services sales motions and campaigns to the regional Services Sales Leads
- Provide on-site presence to assist and resolve escalated key channel, customer, account management and sales issues.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications & Interests:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required. Â
- A minimum of 10 years in a related services environment with experience delivering Managed Services.
- Demonstrated successful leadership and strategic growth experience within a Value Added Reseller, Partner, Managed Service Provider, or adjacent industry.
- Demonstrated success in scaling and profitably growing a Managed Services business focused on predictable implementation and hitting core metrics.
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong working understanding of ITSM principals.
- Strong demonstrated experience developing processes, helping resources learn to follow processes while still being able to innovate and be creative.
- Strong financial and business acumen with understanding of a multi-faceted business operation.
- Ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner vertically and horizontally within business units; able to build bridges across teams and job functions.
- Highly skilled and experienced at negotiating conflict and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills with an ability to present technical issues to C-Level Executives and non-technical audience.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently and deliver results under timelines and pressure. Â
