Job Description
Job Summary:
The Director of Growth Marketing & Ecommerce is a key business leader who will lead the strategy and growth of the iHerb global ecommerce business, as well as our flagship owned brand, California Gold Nutrition. This includes strategies to grow the iHerb brand, acquire, convert and retain customers, grow our house brands and marketplace businesses, and serve as the lead for US market growth. The role works cross-functionally with our operations, global logistics, customer experience, merchandising, global marketing channel teams as well as external partners to drive growth in a fast evolving ecommerce space.
Job Expectations:
- Own and drive the overall brand and performance marketing strategy of iHerb and its owned house brands, including paid performance channels, brand & content, marketplaces and house brands.
- Spearhead the development and execution of the strategic brand vision for iHerb.com and its flagship California Gold Nutrition brand, leading a team to fulfill brand and sales objectives.
- Lead and manage fully integrated programs across paid media, social media, influencers, PR and communications to ensure maximum impact, efficiency and alignment across all company functions and goals.
- Manage all components of the US e-commerce P&Ls, including revenue, gross profit, marketing operating expense, and media budget.
- Work collaboratively with all marketing teams and functions to ensure quarterly and annual forecast targets are met.
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams – international teams, marketing operations, merchandising, finance, global logistics and operations teams to ensure ecommerce growth goals are met.
- Lead the development of new business opportunities and partnerships, including marketplaces, affiliate partners, influencers, B2B and offline sales opportunities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the online ecommerce space, as well as ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, affiliate platforms, data & analytics, influencer platforms and performance marketing measurement and optimization.
- Experience collaborating and communicating effectively across all levels of an organization, from C-level to individual contributor level.
- Familiarity with product compliance, cross-border retail and global logistics a plus.
Equipment Knowledge:
- High aptitude and ability to make efficient use of online productivity and communication tools, in our case with the Google Workspace suite and Asana.
- Experience and familiarity with online marketing and ecommerce platforms, for instance, Google Ads, Meta Ads platform, Channeladvisor, marketplaces, other paid social and communications platforms.

Experience Requirements:
- Proven track record of ecommerce growth and scale.
- 8+ years of experience in team building and development
- 10+ years of experience in online marketing, managing paid media, including paid search, paid social, display video, influencer and brand marketing.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
