After more than 20 years in the fashion and beauty industry - Charlotte Tilbury, the world's most sought-after make-up artist - has launched her own eponymous range of makeup and skincare. The Charlotte Tilbury beauty range launched in the UK in September 2013 to record-breaking results and critical acclaim. Ireland, the US, Canada, and the Netherlands have since been added to our list of markets, along with near-global online distribution, all of them achieving record launches and blistering growth. Responsible for all marketing and communications in the North America Market (US & Canada), this senior thought leader owns the strategy and execution of marketing in the region. Key team member responsible for the growth and evolution of the brand, how the brand is positioned in the marketplace, attracting new customers, retaining existing customers, and alignment with the goals of the business divisions. Strategic and analytical thinker with a creative side to think outside the box with limitless thinking.
Requirements
Role Accountabilities:
- Lead North America marketing strategy across all consumer touch points to grow brand awareness, relevancy, and customer acquisition and retention in the region.
- Thought leadership/execution in developing short and long-term strategic roadmaps for the brand
- Thought leadership/execution in the creation and implementation of brand experiences in digital and direct channels that engage and excite customers
- Execute strategic initiatives within a set yearly budget for the brand - building budget annually around key growth initiatives
- Deliver best-in-class product launches while also developing programs to support the core business and hero SKUs
- Develop a game-changing, innovative, new media advertising strategy
- Partner with the sales team to create bespoke strategies to optimize each retail partner
- Partner with internal brand stakeholders to champion and align 360 brand communication, management, and strategies with the Global team
- Foster innovative and infectious brand and team spirit
- Partner with the sales and store design team on all new counter openings to ensure buzz around the opening and continued commercial success of each door
- Partner with National Accounts and Sales teams to create 360 launch plans around new retailer openings and own store launches
- Constantly deliver new ideas/inspirations/new approaches to help foster conversation and evolution of the brand, including product development recommendations
- Monitor competitive brands for insights that could lead to innovations
- Monitor research for shifts in consumer behavior
- Passion for collaboration across functions and markets
- Analytical & data-driven to determine need gaps in the portfolio and assess the competition.
- Ability to draw insights from the North American market to disseminate to both the local and global teams to help drive the US and Canadian markets
- Build strong collaborative partnerships with Global teams in the UK and all cross-functional teams
- Responsible for the professional and personal development of a team through establishing goals, one-on-one coaching, stretch projects, weekly team meetings, quarterly professional development meetings, exposure to new and exciting projects
Reporting Relationships:
- Reports to General Manager, North America
- Part of: the North America Leadership Team
Key Selection Criteria:
The Person:
- 12-15 Years' Experience leading a marketing organization at a beauty or fashion brand
- Experience and training in both larger corporations and fast-growing brands.
- Experience working with and on a Founder led brand is a plus!
- MBA Preferred
- Marketing knowledge across media - print, digital, social, OOH
- Strong strategic and analytical abilities
- Extensive experience in beauty/lifestyle/fashion / retail marketing
- Thrives in a fast pace environment with constant change
- Interest in trends across popular culture, art, beauty, fashion, and film
- Enthusiastic, energetic, team player and thought leader
- Proven track record in brand management and growth
- Strong leadership skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required
- Outstanding leadership/interpersonal skills required

Key Selection Criteria:
Base Salary Range: $240,000 - $300,000**
