We are seeking a seasoned medical and scientific leader to shape the strategic direction and execution of respiratory-focused programs. This role provides the opportunity to influence both internal scientific capabilities and external collaborations, ensuring excellence in clinical research and study outcomes. You will guide teams, prioritize product and study roadmaps, and act as a trusted scientific partner to sponsors, investigators, and key opinion leaders. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in respiratory medicine with strong leadership, communication, and operational skills, driving impact across global operations. You will play a key role in advancing scientific value, fostering innovation, and ensuring the integrity and quality of all medical and clinical initiatives.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the strategic vision and execution of medical science activities for respiratory programs, aligning with business and clinical objectives.
- Support scientific discussions with clients, including protocol design, study result reviews, advisory meetings, and regulatory panels.
- Manage relationships with key opinion leaders, scientific communities, and external collaborators to enhance expertise and influence.
- Oversee the scientific quality and integrity of studies, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards.
- Guide prioritization of product and study roadmaps to deliver value to sponsors, patients, and clinical programs.
- Drive the development of a scalable medical and science affairs network to support clinical operations and capability expansion.
- Mentor and support teams to achieve results, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with strong expertise in respiratory medicine.
- Extensive experience in pharmaceutical or medical research industries, including clinical trial management.
- Proven ability to lead scientific teams and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Established track record of research and publications within area of expertise.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professionalism in client interactions.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable, and able to maintain high attention to detail.
