In this role you'll get to
- Create and execute a sales strategy that will meet and exceed an account growth/expansion sales quota - Lead a team of ~25 salespeople to achieve account growth revenue targets. Enable the team to create pipeline and close customer contracts ranging in size from $1,000 to $200,000 a year in ARR, forecast accurately and drive business results.
- Build and develop a sales team - Coach, develop and mentor the performance of Commercial Account Executives and Sales Directors, including: recruiting, hiring, training, and professional development of individual team members and leaders. Conduct weekly forecast meetings, deal reviews, and coaching one-on-ones with team members. Have a proven track record of recruiting, training/developing and retaining high-performing sales talent.
- Partner with other business functions - Develop strong relationships with Business Development, Marketing, People, Recruiting and other business functions to support the success of your sales organization.
- Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to customers - Build relationships with key customers. Support your team by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings and engaging other corporate resources.
- Use data and analytics to know your business - Monitoring and tracking the sales activity at team and individual levels. Analyze the team's sales process, manage appropriate metrics/KPI's for sales funnel management. Use data to drive your focus and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
