Position Summary

You would be joining Antora in a leadership role, responsible for helping to deliver our projects and initiatives into commercial operations. You would be a key member of a small, but fast growing commercial team. Initially, you would be focused on helping us bring our projects from early-stage development to financial close. More broadly, you would be focused on scaling our capabilities as we grow, with the objective of deploying 100s to 1000s of MW per year of zero-emissions industrial energy projects in the next decade.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Development of Antora’s power-to-heat projects from early-stage to Commercial Operation
  • Lead the securing of material contracts with EPC, supply chain, other partners necessary to drive our projects to financial close
  • Development of Antora’s transaction structuring and project finance discipline to help optimize company’s capitalization
  • Develop transaction structure and optimal sources and use of capital re: sponsors, incentives, project finance, equity and debt
  • Solicit and Engage with project finance stakeholders, ultimately assisting in securing funding for our first-of-a-kind commercial projects
  • Establish rolling, 3-yr commercial project growth plan with objectives and key performance indicators regarding installed MWs and deployed capital
  • Build the engine that will deliver heat and power projects using Antora’s proprietary approaches to targeted sectors including deal and project development process including implementation of underwriting standards, investment criteria, delegation of authority, and norms and standards
  • Develop long-term, strategic relationships with financial partners to optimize sources and uses of capital and debt within Antora corporate and project scaling
  • Communicate with board of directors on commercial projects and commercial strategy
  • Nurture Antora brand and industry positioning to leverage key stakeholder groups (customers, investors, suppliers, partners, employees, competitors)
  • Develop and manage financial plans related to commercial development activities

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Energy Economics, Business, or related field
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in commercial development, sales, or business development in the energy sector
  • Experience deploying up to 1000s of MW per year of zero-emissions industrial energy projects 
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion from early stage to commercialization
  • Substantial experience in the development of material contracts with EPC and other partners to drive projects to financial close
  • Strong industry knowledge, including market trends, competitors and relevant regulations
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills 
  • Analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
  • A deep understanding of thermal energy storage and related technologies preferred
