VP of Digital Content and Social Media

Role Overview

We are looking for a unique individual for this hybrid role of VP of Social and Digital content creation, reporting directly to our Chief Communications Officer.  The ideal VP of Content and Social will oversee content creation, community management, and digital partnership strategy across a collection of social channels. As the Director of Social and Digital Content, you'll develop the function's strategy, set its vision, and support product, sales, and marketing team goals. Your work will be highly visible, cross-functional, and broad in scope.

Responsibilities

• Write, create, curate, publish and manage content (image, video, written, and audio) on company social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency through tone, look, and feel.
• Working with Public Affairs and potentially external PR agencies on communication initiatives
• Produced communications materials, including press releases, talking points, fact sheets, and backgrounders
• You will own the digital content strategy including content planning, development, and execution 
• Leverage social listening tools to gain insights on industry, competitor, and customer persona behaviors and recommend strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of digital content experience across web, content, SEO, search, social
• 3-5 years of public relations experience that ocuses on digital marketing and social media
• Strong oral and written communication skills, from 140-character tweets to in-depth policy analyses
• Strong skills in communication, decision-making, and problem-solving
• Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to specify, develop, and implement a social media strategy  
• A unique perspective on how to drive value from digital content for SaaS companies
• Strong analytical mind and are skilled at digging into data to determine growth or optimization opportunities
• You live on the cutting edge of the industry, always looking for opportunities to grow and share
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and dynamic work environment
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain guidelines for employee social media use.
