Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence
• Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for scaling our engineering capabilities, aligning with the company’s objectives and growth plans
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and research, to define and prioritize engineering initiatives
• Provide best in class technical guidance and mentorship to the engineering team, promoting continuous learning and professional development
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven leadership experience in scaling engineering operations at an early-stage company
• 10+ years of experience building sophisticated software products, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong background in software engineering, including expertise in agile methodologies, DevOps, and cloud-based technologies
• Demonstrated success in leading and managing engineering teams, fostering innovation, and driving results
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into technical strategies and actionable plans

Nice to have:

• Experience or demonstrated interest in Decentralized Finance, Crypto, or Web3

Location:

• Must be located or willing to relocate to New York City

Salary range for this role is $300K - $400K USD (NY). Compensation subject to experience and locations. Published salary bands pursuant to transparency laws, and do not include possible variable compensation such as annual merit increases, bonus eligibility, commission, or equity incentive.
