VP of Engineering - Enterprise SAAS Company

Position Overview: We are looking for an accomplished VP of Engineering to provide technical leadership, innovation, and strategic direction for our engineering, quality assurance and DevOps departments. You will play a critical role in shaping our technology roadmap, delivering customer delight, scalability, security, and performance of our SAAS platform. As a key member of the executive team, you will lead a talented group of technologists, drive a culture of innovation and quality, and contribute to the company's overall growth and success.
Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the technology teams, setting the technical direction, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Technology Strategy: Develop and execute the company's technology strategy, driving innovation, and staying current with industry trends to maintain our competitive edge.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement that is aligned with, and amplifies, our company values.
• Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and delivery of our SAAS products, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and user expectations.
• Scalability and Performance: Ensure the platform's scalability, reliability, and performance as it grows to meet the needs of our enterprise clients.
• Security: Implement and maintain appropriate security measures to protect customer data and maintain compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Collaboration: Foster effective collaboration with product management, sales, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product development and customer satisfaction.
• Budget and Resource Management: Manage the engineering budget, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
• Recruitment and Talent Development: Attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent, promoting a culture of learning and growth within the team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a technical leadership role with at least [10] years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Deep experience in SAAS architecture, cloud technologies, and best practices for software development and delivery.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance standards.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• A visionary leader with a passion for fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
