VP of Engineering Enterprise Platform

• Lead and grow a world-class engineering organization responsible for the foundational services of Atlas
• Define and evolve platform architecture to enable real-time access intelligence policy automation and extensibility
• Champion an API-first platform strategy to empower our developer and partner ecosystem
• Drive execution across scalable microservices GraphQL APIs event-driven pipelines and AI/ML-integrated services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — Product Design Security and Field — to turn vision into reality

• Core platform components: identity services knowledge graphs workflow engine and data pipelines
• Engineering strategy for extensibility scale observability and developer experience
• Developer platform capabilities including SDKs APIs integration tooling and marketplace components
• Innovation pipeline for low-code capabilities customizable UI policy engine and AI/ML extensibility

• Proven leadership in building and leading high-performing platform engineering teams
• Deep experience in cloud-native architecture identity/security platforms or large-scale data systems
• Passion for elegant API design developer experience and enabling customer/partner ecosystems
• Ability to inspire and align high-performing teams across locations and functions
• Experience integrating graph databases (e.g. Neo4j) event-driven systems or AI/ML pipelines a plus

Requirements:

• 15+ years of engineering leadership experience
• BS in CS or related field preferred

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary for US-based employees will be in this range from (min-mid-max USD):

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
