VP of Finance

Job Summary:

Reporting to the CFO, the VP of FP&A will play a critical role in the execution of our strategy. We are looking for a hands-on yet strategic leader who can operate in a fast-paced and supportive environment.  This role will oversee operational and financial reporting used for critical decision making.  He/she will bring a strong analytical mindset, communication skills and proven expertise leading the finance function for a SaaS company. The next evolution of the role is to foster a culture of transparency and accountability for driving profitable growth, and ensure that finance is seen as a value-added business partner.

Qualified Candidates Will Have:

• Owned the FP&A function and financial & operating model for an entire company.
• Deep experience & demonstrated knowledge managing SaaS KPI’s and the systems for tracking.
• Worked for a PE-backed SaaS software company in a senior financial position.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within and outside of the finance department.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external partners, Investors & lenders.
• Establish and monitor KPI’s for the business and provide financial analysis to senior leadership on key business trends.
• Present financial reports to the executive team and ensure understanding of financial performance and forecasts.
• Lead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with other leaders to build their financial understanding and responsibility, offering insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance.
• Continuously monitor, adjust, and communicate our financial plans to the rest of the company to increase financial literacy, transparency, and alignment.
• Build out reporting capabilities including partnering with RevOps to leverage all relevant information sources to enhance visibility of KPIs and business performance.

Qualifications:

• Master of Business Administration highly preferred.
• 8 - 10 years of experience in FP&A with sometime as a Director or VP of Finance/ FP&A or related job title in a SaaS software company.
• Investment Banking Analyst or similar experience a plus.
