Responsibilities
Lead a team of Head of leaders, Directors, Senior Managers and/or Financial Analysts. Recruit, retain, develop talent and maintain a vibrant talent environment with high morale and engagement.
Build analysis framework and apparatus for Capital, NetEx and NetOps expenses.Â
Take a leadership role in planning, monitoring and facilitating investment decisions.
Build strong business partnerships across the enterprise to optimize Capital, NetEx/Ops end-to-end.
Define and own the governance for Capital, NetEx and NetOps.

Sets, drives and executes strategic plan for Sub-Function
Impacts through exercising control over resources, influencing policy formulation and planning that may be in uncharted strategic areas or without precedent

Creates and drives execution of talent development strategies to ensure capabilities needed to drive success within the Sub-Function are addressed

Influences and negotiates, internally and externally, with great latitude on outcomes
Influences perspectives and actions, while providing counsel and insights to leaders within and across their Function
Creates alignment, drives collaboration and partnerships across the Sub-Function they are accountable for and more broadly across Zayo

Evaluates key business and organizational challenges; directs the development of new or innovative solutions
Makes highly complex decisions while dealing with uncertainty and at times with incomplete data by leveraging past experiences and track
Decisions and actions taken related to products, process improvement, innovative services and operation have significant cost impact on the Sub-function and related sub-functions
Knowledge / Business Acumen (Business / Technical / Industry)
Applies in-depth knowledge of how own Sub-function integrates with other Functions across Zayo and how Zayo differentiates itself from competitors to create competitive advantageÂ
Anticipates, influences and adjusts strategy based on internal/external business, people, industry and environmental factors that have an impact their area of accountability

Qualifications
Knowledge of the content, intent and application of regulations, policies, standards, operations, and requirements applicable to the business function(s) under designated scope of authority.
Knowledge of the principles, practices, regulatory requirements and policies applicable to budget administration, resource/expense control, employee supervision and performance management.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of strategic business planning and continuous process/performance improvement.
Knowledge of the concepts, practices and tools relating to financial analysis and the development of program metrics.
Ability to understand financial and/or operational reports, analyze data, identify improvement opportunities and implement effective responses.
Ability to collaboratively redesign work processes to affect labor, supply, and other operational cost reductions while maintaining or improving service and quality of end products.
Ability to plan, manage and evaluate the work of subordinate staff.
Ability to understand financial and/or operational reports, analyze data, identify improvement opportunities and implement effective responses.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, interpret requirements and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to express ideas and convey information effectively in verbal and written communication, and in presentations to leadership/management.

Education & Experience:
Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline and 10+ years of senior leadership experience, preferably working with technologies within the high tech and telecom industries.Â
Financial leadership and experience in managing P&Ls across complex, matrix and global organizations and delivering results vs. goals/budgets, with year over year improvements in performance.
Base pay range: $200,000 - $250,000, commensurate with experience.
