We are seeking a Vice President of FP&A to own the global Financial Planning and Analysis team and scale it with the growth of the Company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a high growth enterprise SaaS, have built organizations to scale, and have a history of experience that includes transitioning from private to public company requirements (including the IPO process) and a proven track record in a public company FP&A team. The candidate is not only a strategic thinker who can develop a plan to build a world class public company FP&A organization but also has the business acumen and leadership ability to drive change and execute the plan.Â
As the VP of FP&A, you will be the key driver and enabler in the development of people, process and technology, and ensuring data & analysis is readily available for management decision making, external reporting and leading the business toward long-term success. You will lead the team to deliver an annual long range plan and an annual budget with quarterly updates to the company forecast. You will build a company guidance model and process so expectations can be clearly set and communicated to investors on a regular basis. You will provide ongoing insights and performance against the planned numbers to ensure the company has a track record of beating guidance and is driving long term success of the business model.

Your job will be to:- Lead, plan and execute all financial planning & analysis processes and activities across the organization to ensure analytical insights, forecasting accuracy and deep business partnershipÂ
- Drive financial planning, analysis & reporting for investors, the Board of Directors, management and employees including monthly close and forecasts, annual budget, and long-range plan across consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and key metrics
- Build the analytical infrastructure and process to support the companyâs hyper-growth and prepare the company for being a great public company
- Own the investor guidance process to ensure the Company has a repeatable âbeat and raiseâ reputation in the marketÂ
- Provide leadership required to grow and strengthen the global team of 10+ professionals, with a commitment to recruiting, development and mentoringÂ
- Establish strong business partner relationships with cross-functional peers and lead the team to be the go to analytical team in the Company
- Collaborate with the executive team on driving strategic business decisions and industry best practices across the companyÂ
- Leverage technology to build scalable processes to create insightful and robust reporting
- Perform scenario analysis of financial outcomes based on a range of operational levers which impact the business
- Provide analytical & execution expertise on M&A transactions from pre-acquisition due diligence through post-acquisition integration
- In 30 days, you will dive in to get a deep understanding of the business and begin relationships with leaders in the company and the FP&A team
- In 60 days, you will have a roadmap of people, process and systems you need to evolve the FP&A mission for the Company
- In 180 days, you will deliver measurable results against the FP&A roadmap and be driving the 2023 business results through analysis, forecasting and business partnership
- Professional â experience in people management and FP&A in a SaaS organization at a high-growth public companyÂ
- Personal â strong mentor and leader, analytical, and can present to all levels internally and externally
- 15 years progressively responsible FP&A experience, of which a minimum of 4 years must be in the SaaS industry and a minimum 5 years in a leadership position managing teams
- Experience in both growth-stage and public companies required
- Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing operational & financial data to deliver strategic insights
- Experience in financing, public company readiness and M&A transactions
- Technology and systems forward thinker with Netsuite & Adaptive Insights experience preferredÂ
- Experience in Big 4 Accounting, Consulting, Investment Banking or Large Cap Tech Company
- A Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting or Business is required, MBA preferred
