Today, Screencastify is in hyper-growth mode. We’ve created ambitious new goals, features, and products that will enable us to further improve how we provide service to our users and accelerate our already fast growth. This role is critical to the success of Screencastify over the next 18 months and beyond.
About the roleAs we set out to achieve our ambitious goals, we need to ensure that we are creating and maintaining raving fans while providing the best structure and training for our internal teams. As Screencastify’s first VP of Growth, you’ll own the Growth function, establish our GTM and growth strategies, and shape the culture and management of the Growth team. This role is critical to the success of Screencastify over the next 18 months and beyond.

What you'll do:
- Lead the Growth team, identify growth strategies for the current customer base, build out community engagement and training, and identify “product-led growth” inbound sales opportunities.
- Serve as a key member of our Executive team, providing expertise in matters related to our employees, our growth strategy, and our culture.
- Create best practices and processes to help us meet our retention, renewal, and expansion goals.
- Guide the Growth of Marketing-related initiatives and the initiatives and teams' scale.
- Create effective training on growth-related topics such as SEO, SEM, funnel optimization, digital marketing, and other related areas in order to ensure all of the relevant stakeholders are properly educated on how to infuse growth tactics into their content, initiatives, and products with maximum impact.
- Ensure the team is maximizing the impact of all growth experiments by maintaining organized playbooks, automated systems, and dashboards that track the states and thresholds related to each experiment.
- Build financial forecasts and projections that relate to the cost and return on investment for experiments, both large and small.
- Provide thought leadership, strategic insight, and clear communication (written and verbal) to your team and the organization on the company’s growth strategy.
- Develop and implement strategies that optimize content and SEO across platforms resulting in quantifiable growth in revenue and customers.
- Standardize growth processes in a way that allows for standardization and scale while providing flexibility based on business unit needs.
- Ensure effective execution of the enablement strategy. This includes tracking, measuring, and reporting on the impact of all key training efforts and adapting curricula as needed.
- Ensure consistency across all brand-related touchpoints.
- You will be responsible for identifying and scaling cost-effective customer acquisition strategies across a range of digital marketing channels
- The ideal candidate will know how to build & scale complex marketing campaigns across the consideration and purchase funnel has worked with Product and Analytics Teams to drive growth, has demonstrated experience in collaborating with multiple teams to achieve results, and is able to clearly communicate complex data to strategic stakeholders.
- Plan, build, and execute a strategic cross-channel playbook for demand generation by owning qualified audience growth across all stages of the funnel, in the particular acquisition, conversion, and retargeting (i.e., the right platforms, with the right messaging, to the right audiences).
- Track and report KPI metrics to the executive team, company, and board
You're perfect for this role if you
- You have 10-15 years of experience in Marketing or Product Management roles.
- You have over 5 years of leadership experience (Director +). Previous experience serving as a VP (or Director) of Growth is a huge plus.
- You are comfortable spending time developing strategy as well as “in the trenches” with the team as needed.
- You’ve worked in start-ups or rapidly scaling companies, ideally in software and Saas.
- You have experience working with a variety of customers ranging from individual B2C users to enterprise customers.
- Demonstrated experience growing revenue at scale via performance marketing within a B2B technology or SaaS company.
- You are empathetic, hardworking, and kind.
