VP of HR & Recruiting

Office Headquarters: Lower Manhattan, NY (in-office three days a week)

Accrete is looking for a VP of HR & Recruiting that will be responsible for all U.S. talent acquisition, recruiting operations, human resources functions, talent onboarding, offboarding, performance management with the Operations department and learning and development at Accrete Inc. You will be driving U.S. talent acquisition, human resources efforts and talent integration of top caliber candidates for all functional units across the U.S., which encompasses all departments for Accrete. We are designing custom solutions for the most innovative companies in the world and your job will be to place the very high quality talent that brings those custom solution visions to life.

VP of HR & Recruiting Hire's first 3-6 months:
  • Learn Accrete products, technological capabilities and messaging
  • Learn and bring on the tools necessary to be successful: ClickUp & recruiting software
  • Build relationships with each of your departments counterparts: AI Research, Sales, Product, Partnerships, Industry Research, etc
  • Consistently meet our hiring goals and work with Operations to anticipate the resourcing needs of our future deliverable timelines
  • Improve upon our talent acquisition and onboarding processes with each department and further build out our ATS system, Workable
  • Further build out the recruiting infrastructure for D.C. area hires with clearances for sales, business development and on-site technical work for the U.S. intelligence and defense communities
  • Take on all HR business responsibilities, manage the relationship with our PEO, Insperity, for benefits, resources integration and documentation
  • Choose and implement an HRIS for Accrete Inc. & its subsidiaries' HR documentation as a centralized system of record
  • Work extensively with Operations department to elevate performance management and development processes


VP of HR & Recruiting Hire's first 6 - 12 months:
  • After being successful with your first objective of handling a multi-hire campaigns, with the support of recruiting firms on key hires, begin to build the recruiting team focused on reducing agency spend
  • Develop strong relationships with talent pools on behalf of Accrete for talent acquisition
  • Conduct an evaluation on current PEO to decide whether or not we should retain Insperity or replace it with another PEO
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to create a cadenced talent development procedure in alignment with the OKR performance management evaluation process
  • Work with Operations to get involved with regular employee performance reviews
  • Interface with Operations on organizational needs and provide in-depth performance management from managers and department leaders to improve business performance


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in talent acquisition and management (ideally within AI or SaaS)
  • Strategic, influential and confident in building relationships with employees at all levels
  • Have ideally grown teams at least between 2x - 5x
  • Expertise running talent acquisition function and team to successfully place talent that runs the entire functional gamut of our organization
  • Created onboarding, offboarding and talent development programs
  • Managed a professional employer organization (PEO), benefits, 401(k), etc initiatives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication ability, strong interpersonal skills and inspire leadership qualities through leading by action
  • Commercial mindset and analytical in all aspects of your approach to complex situations


Responsibilities:
  • Relying on yourself and recruiting firms, to handle all U.S. staffing
  • Build strong relationships with each of the departments' managers and leaders
  • Continue to create new relationships for recruiting firms for senior and niche talent
  • Improve the documented onboarding and training SOPs with each department leader
  • Create a database of valuable data for each of the job types Accrete is hiring for, consisting of talent acquisition data, market comp data, analysis and insightful metrics
  • Understand the current recruitment trends and your organization's markets to identify the impact upon the business
  • Develop strong relationships with talent pools on behalf of Accrete for talent acquisition and marketing our enterprise AI brand identity for networking purposes as well
  • Manage a professional employer organization (PEO), benefits, 401(k), etc initiatives
  • Work with Operations to evaluate the existing strategic onboarding procedures, employee training materials, and documentation
  • Collaborate with Operations to elevate performance management and talent development processes
