BlueSnap’s VP of Human Resources will provide executive-level leadership and insights to the organization’s HR strategies and operations which will align with our strategic direction. You will be responsible for setting, administering, and evaluating HR policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as creating and executing strategic talent management goals. You will provide leadership in change management, HR systems and infrastructure, and market-based compensation structures. This is an executive leadership team role reporting to our CEO.

This role is based in our Waltham, MA office.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership to understand short and long-term business goals to build a People and Talent strategy that aligns with and supports BlueSnap’s goals
  • Lead as a strategic partner and advisor to organizational leaders and assist with the resolution of employee relations and other HR matters
  • Lead and scale recruitment across all teams globally by developing a talent acquisition strategy consistent with organizational needs and culture
  • Develop scalable learning and development experiences for employees at every level for both new hire onboarding and ongoing department training
  • Ensure BlueSnap has an effective and efficient performance management process
  • Drive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy and initiatives for BlueSnap to both attract and retain a diverse workplace and inclusive culture
  • Partner with leaders to build and sustain a culture that drives retention, engagement, and performance; provide organizational leadership around culture assessment and development, introducing and managing organizational change, and development initiatives
  • Evaluate and review compensation market data and the organization's total compensation offerings to ensure they remain competitive, efficient, and attractive to current and future team members; partner with the benefits broker to negotiate annual benefit renewal

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant, progressive experience in global Human Resources within a high-growth environment; Fintech experience is a plus!
  • Possess strong acumen in human capital and talent development
  • Ability to move between strategic business partner and day-to-day HR operations with a willingness to be a “player-coach” type leader
  • Understanding of labor law; knowledge of state and federal compliance and laws
