About the Job
As our VP, Innovation Programs, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating the pace of healthcare innovation by leveraging Redesign Health’s proven methodology and platform capabilities within a connected healthcare ecosystem. Your goal is to develop the innovation program strategy and methodology to drive value for Redesign Health by partnering with healthcare incumbents to generate diversified services revenue, evaluate venture concepts for company co-creation, and identify opportunities for early operating company traction.Â
In this role you’ll have a unique opportunity to shape Redesign Health’s growth by leading a high-performing team of Innovation Program Directors focused on developing and fostering innovation partnerships across multiple customer segments. Â
You will report to and work with the Head of Strategic Growth and Innovation at our New York City headquarters or Remote.
What you'll do:
- Lead the Innovation Program Partner Success StrategyÂ
- Develop and execute Redesign Health’s Innovation Program strategy informed by customer segment needs and market feedback
- Optimize customer contracts financial & strategic terms and Innovation Program models to further meet Redesign Health strategic goals
- Bring informed solutions to partners to expand Redesign Health Innovation Program brand ecosystem visibility & reputation to drive and support Redesign Health’s growth and expansion strategy
- Manage a team of external advisors to gain insights for our Innovation Program strategy
- Innovation Program Team Leadership and Development
- Empower, lead, and mentor the Innovation Program team, fostering a culture of growth, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Accountable for establishing KPIs across customer segments, and managing conflicting priorities to lead the team’s success in meeting team KPIs including revenue, profitability and growth targets and partner satisfaction
- Establish and execute effective innovation processes that ensure project teams follow a sequence to drive accountability for best practices tailored to Redesign Health and partner project deliverables
- Innovation Program Business Development
- Pioneer simplicity by establishing and executing standardized business development processes and materials
- Accountable for the business development strategy and operational model execution to successfully Identify, prospect and grow strategic partner target accounts
- Establish repeatable sales and documentation processes and share best practices across working groups
- Develop and execute a programmatic approach to partner growth and revenue expansion strategies
- Partner Relationship Management Processes and Operations
- Accountable for leading the internal and external success of partner relationships;Â including mitigating challenges, customer service recovery and relationship management risks as they emerge
- Create and evolve scalable processes for initial partner engagement, innovation program sale, and program implementation and expansion
- Create a programmatic approach to segment - specific partner lifecycle management across customer segments and partner types
What you'll need:
- 12+ years in a healthcare or healthcare-related organization in progressing management and leadership positions in business development, corporate development, innovation & strategy, customer relationship management, or partner success experience
- 5+ years experience leading highly motivated and successful business development/innovation teams
- Bachelor's degree in business, health administration, or a related field
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPH) preferred
What you will bring to the table:
- Proven knowledge of corporate innovation strategy and demonstrated ability to execute new healthcare commercialization strategies
- Experience working in a matrixed environment with teams of small, agile working groups that collaborate with various internal stakeholders to achieve goals
- Direct experience establishing or managing an innovation function within a healthcare organization is preferred
