VP of Marketing

ngrok is searching for our first VP of Marketing. Reporting directly to our Chief Revenue Officer, this person will own all things marketing: fearlessly lead our marketing team, look around corners, build the playbooks, and help us reach the next level.

Responsibilities:

• Brand: Magnify the ngrok brand, trust, and mindshare across developers and businesses

• Growth: Developer marketing and growing self serve user base measured in developer love, leads and revenue

• Marketing Machine: Continuously improve our mkt stack for automation and continuous data-driven decisions and results

• Experimentation: Foster a culture of experimentation and learning from Data in the marketing organization
• Developer Love: Turn our user base into a raving community of promoters.

What success looks like:

The Vice President of Marketing fuels our growth and brings our marketing to the next level while nurturing our people and playbooks to make our growth flywheel repeatable and sustainable.

As a result, the ngrok business and brand raises new levels of trust and admiration across developers and businesses. Whenever a company wants to resonate with developers, they ask: "What would ngrok do?"

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in marketing and leading marketing teams
• Experience running marketing for product-led solutions with enterprise sales motion, such as Zoom, Slack, Twilio, Loom, and Github
• Data driven mindset (Uses data to drive decisions)
• Talent Magnet (brings the best marketing talent to ngrok)
• Deep understand of Developer Marketing
• Experience with Branding, Growth, Product, and Content Marketing
• Experience with Developer Advocacy
• Deep understanding for marketing systems and tools to drive efficiency

Compensation for this role depends on level, but we provide a competitive mix of salary and equity.

We provide a 401(k) with a 100% match up to 3% of your salary and a 50% match up to another 2%.

We provide healthcare, dental, and vision with premiums fully covered on the base plan for employees. Half of premiums are covered for dependents.
