Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive the growth and success of our brand. As the VP of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives, building brand awareness, and driving customer acquisition and engagement. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, increase brand visibility, and meet revenue targets.
Lead and manage a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Create and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, content marketing, social media, email marketing, SEO, and events.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals and ensure a consistent brand message across all channels.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
Oversee the creation and production of marketing collateral, including website content, blog articles, videos, infographics, and presentations.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, track campaign effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing initiatives and improve ROI.
Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective collaboration.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing, and integrate them into the company's marketing strategies.
Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively and maximizing ROI.
Cultivate strong partnerships and collaborations with influencers, industry associations, and strategic partners to enhance brand reach and exposure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Proven track record of at least 8 years in marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience in the fintech, financial services, retail, or e-commerce industries is highly desirable.
Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
Strong analytical skills and ability to use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a creative mindset.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, and analytics software.
Proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable, with a passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends.
Compensation:
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $175,000 - $220,000 per year. Sezzle has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
