Position Overview

Idea Evolver is in search of a dynamic and visionary Vice President (VP) of Media. The role demands an individual who possesses a blend of leadership prowess, strategic foresight, and a profound understanding of the evolving media landscape, particularly in the healthcare sector. This pivotal position will oversee a multifaceted media department, providing guidance to teams responsible for data science insights, client strategy, SEM, and digital clinical trial recruiting, and media buying. Key responsibilities include:

  • Spearheading the development and execution of media strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborating with executive leadership to define the media department's vision, ensuring it supports the company's broader vision and strategic goals.
  • Proactively engage with pharmaceutical companies and other potential
    clients, leveraging strategic insights and innovative media solutions to
    secure new projects and contracts, ultimately increasing the media
    department's revenue.
  • Mentoring and nurturing media teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.
  • Engaging with key healthcare clients to understand their strategic needs and tailor our offerings accordingly.
  • Staying on top of industry trends, ensuring Idea Evolver remains at the forefront of media innovation in the healthcare sector.
  • Analyzing new business and technology growth areas with the intent of addressing key market/customer needs and profitable growth.
  • Overseeing the financial aspects of the media department, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring a favorable ROI on media initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key media partners and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring adherence to industry regulations and ethical guidelines in all media endeavors.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the media department is agile, efficient, and effective.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; a Master's Degree in Media, Business, or a related field is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in media, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in executing media strategies effectively, especially within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong understanding of SEM, media platforms, analytics and emerging technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor media teams to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments to drive media initiatives and align with broader organizational objectives.
  • Solid analytical, communication, and operational skills.
  • Experience with digital clinical trials is a desirable asset.
  • Data science experience or familiarity is a plus.
