VP of New Products

About the role:

As the Vice President of New Products at Swirlds Labs, you'll spearhead the development and launch of our latest offerings tailored for the enterprise market, leveraging the Hedera public ledger. You'll take charge of the product's entire lifecycle, from design and development to market introduction, and oversee its profitability and success. The new product will provide a marketplace of enterprise-grade, private networks, offering the same full DLT capabilities of the Hedera public ledger and natively bridging to the Hedera public ledger in order to offer and exchange digital assets on public applications (e.g. DeFi) when relevant.

In addition to driving product development, you will shape overarching product strategy, providing guidance to Engineering (including system integration and DevOps) and product-specific Business Development and Marketing efforts. As a member of the Swirlds Labs Executive team, you will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams and other key stakeholders.

You may find yourself doing all of the following:

• Conducting regular competitive analysis to discern customer needs, technology trends, and market demands
• Defining and steering the product roadmap, setting impactful goals and OKRs
• Collaborating with Engineering, Marketing, and Developer Advocacy teams to orchestrate successful product launches and feature rollouts
• Recruiting, managing, and mentoring high-performing product and engineering teams
• Articulating the product's value proposition to system integrators, partners, end-users, and other stakeholders
• Organizing and facilitating productive workshops for partners and end customers
• Working closely with business development, sales, and marketing teams to assess product-market fit, customize the offering based on client feedback, and deliver products that leading enterprises will find enduring value in

Qualification Requirements:

• Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams
• Expertise in Product Management, encompassing P&L management, product design, and go-to-market strategies. Experience with DLT-based solutions or infrastructure is highly desirable
• Demonstrated success in delivering scalable platforms and products with enduring value
• Technical background to actively engage in engineering scrums, comprehend technical solutions, and address challenges effectively
• Prior experience collaborating with systems integrators and major enterprise software vendors
